A whole week's worth of amazing activities organised in such a way as to maximise your time spent in Cape Town. Please note that at Downhill Adventures, we do not believe in set, inflexible itineraries but, will gladly put together packages tailor-made for each individual client.

The package we offer below is what we feel offers the best the Cape has to offer in terms of adventure and site-seeing and is the perfect mix. However, if you would like to swop things around, or add any of the activities we offer- just let us know!

Please note that many of these adventures are weather dependant and Mother Nature does throw in the odd curve ball now and again. We will always endeavour to run the activities as per the schedule but, where not possible, we will normally re-arange the itinerary to best suit current conditions.
 

On the first day we take you on our Cape Point Cycling & Winelands Tour.

Its a great way to see the best the Cape has to offer, taking in both Oceans and coasts of the peninsular.

First off we visit Boulder's Beach where you can see one of the few mainland Penguin colonies in the world. Then we head to the CApe of Good Hope Nature Reserve where we take a leisurely Mountain Biking ride through the reserve with the possibility of seeing antelope, baboons and ostrich, rare Cape Zebra and other wildlife. You can hike or take the Flying Dutchman Fenicular (Vertical train) up to the site of the original lighthouse where you can enjoy in the views across false bay of the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean on the other side of the peninsular. You also have the option of taking a breath taking 30 minute walk along the cliffs from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope.

After some more cycling along the coastal route we head out to Constantia Winelands where you can enjoy tasing some of the fine wines produced at some of South Africas oldest and best wine farms. The scenic surrounds and warm atmosphere make this the perfect way to commence your South African Adventure Experience.

After breakfast we head up the West Coast to the magnificent Atlantis sand dunes where our expert instructor will teach you how to Sandboard – very much like Snowboarding, but with out the cold! After lunch we exchange the natural pull of gravity for a motorized four-wheeler and head off on an exciting trail through the bush with a powerful Quad Bike.

After breakfast we head off to one of the spectacular beaches around the Cape and commence a full days surfing activity. We normally go to the West Coast, about 30 minutes from central Cape Town as it offers a great choice of waves to suit all levels, has picture postcard views of Table Mountain and Robben Island and is a shark free zone.
We'll provide each of you with a snugg Reef wetsuit and a minimal board and our expert guide will give you a full lesson based on the UK Surfing Association approved instruction.

After 2 to 3 sessions in the water will hope to get you up and riding waves by the end of the day.

After an early start to the day with a drive in our comfortable, air conditioned Mercedes vehicle to Gansbay- the most researched area in the world for Great White Shark activity, and the site for the exhilirating Shark Cage Diving Experience.

Spend the day on our top of the range boat cage diving and viewing these amazing animals, as well as other local species of marine wildlife.

After breakfast, we drive up the West Coast along the Atlantic Ocean to the Tandem Skydive location. After a full briefing and training session, the jumpmaster will fit you out and take you up to 10 000ft in a light aircraft. Apart from enjoying an incredible view, the 30-second free fall will leave you breathless.
